Weyrling Rules
1. Weyrlings may not have intimate relationships. It doesn't matter if sex is involved or not, a young dragon doesn't understand the emotions involved, nor the concept of sharing their bond in this way. Ignoring these rules has resulted in severe mental and emotional damage or the dragonet going between. Also, the dragon may rise far too early and between due to not being able to handle the strong emotions.
2. Weyrlings are not allowed to leave the Weyr without permission from the Weyrleaders or Weyrlingmaster.
3. Weyrlings may not try anything they haven't been taught. This includes flying, whether alone or as a pair, flaming, and especially going between!
4.No tormenting those with any sort of limitation or restriction, both authority-wise or health wise.
5. Daring other Weyrlings to do something they have not been taught, or inciting them to break any rules will not be tolerated.
6. Whenever the WLM or one of their assistants is speaking, you are to give them your full attention. You are expected to obey orders - this prepares you for when you become part of a Fighting Wing. Questioning or disobeying a superior's orders can result in the death of you, your dragon, or a fellow rider and his dragon when fighting Thread.
7. No consumption of alcohol during your weyrling period. Wait until after you graduate. Your dragon could be lost or suffer damages mentally if you do.
8. The barracks are restricted to authorized personnel only. This means Weyrlings, WLM and assistants, Weyrleader and Weyrwomen only.
Junior Weyrlings
1. Visitors are not allowed without express permission from the Weyrleader in the event of an emergency. Your lifemate is young and the two of you need to be together constantly, working on your bond without distraction.
2. Do not leave the barracks, Weyr bowl or training area without permission from a WLM or assistant. Do not leave your lifemate unless he or she is fast asleep.
Senior Weyrlings
1. Harassing younger Weyrlings or candidates will not be tolerated.
2. Anyone who proves him or herself untrustworthy will be punished.
3. You will not graduate unless you pass your exams.
4. Trying to behave as a rank you are not and disobeying orders can cause you to fail to graduate.
5. Missing lessons and not making them up can cause you not to graduate.
6. Aim to set an example for the younger Weyrlings.
