According to the board description for the accepted characters board, we are expected to link to all of our character profiles in our signatures.

Great idea, but...unfortunately, Proboards has a hard limit of 400 characters for signatures. This means that if one puts *nothing* else in one's signature, one can link to no more than four character profiles.

There are already people here with way more than four characters.

Therefore, I'm suggesting that a board be made where people can post the links to their characters in one thread...these threads could also be used for things like extra pixels, extra char piccies, that people might wish they could put in their signatures, but not want to/be able to because of the insanely tight length limit, and that the rule be changed to have the signature link to that thread, so only one URL need be placed in signatures.

Stupid proboards. Sigh.

I second a new, separate board dedicated to Character thread links.

Reine's suggestion does allow for extra space for whatever we might like to also add in there, and perhaps it could also be used in order to allow us to keep a small "history" of sorts as to what has happened to them after their creation.

This would allow us to have an easier time finding a specific character's thread. Imagine what would happen when we have a lot of characters? It would be a pain to search for any one specific character, and with the boards it would be much easier.

I finalize that motion! I'll make a thread for that so you guys can add the char links in there. It does make sense. I was trying to link mine, and ha ha, no can do with that many! ^^;;;
